Reservations & Sales Officer
Setsu Niseko
The Reservations & Sales Officer at Setsu Niseko is responsible for executing the sales strategy by handling accommodation and guest services bookings. This role involves communicating effectively with guests to understand their needs and finding the best options for them, all while providing excellent service. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for the winter season and hospitality.
- Quote and process booking inquiries via email and telephone
- Update and check rates on online travel agencies channels
- Follow up with guests on outstanding matters to finalize bookings
- Monitor the local market to support the planning of future sales strategies
- Handle agent and online travel agency bookings via email and telephone
- Support with updates to the system
- Perform reservation checks to ensure accuracy
- Assist in training seasonal staff and support the sales team as necessary
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in a hotel or resort environment is a plus
- Experience in reservations, or a related field is a plus
- Visa status permitting full-time work in Japan (Sponsorship available for the right candidate)
- Valid driver's license in Japan or international permit is a plus
Competencies or skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Fluent in both Japanese and English
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize under pressure
Salary:
- ¥250,000–¥290,000 per month + annual discretionary bonus
