Setsu Niseko is looking for a Housekeeping Officer to join our team. This role is not a regular room cleaning position. As a Housekeeping Officer, you will help make sure our rooms are ready for guests by checking room conditions, inspecting cleanliness standards, coordinating with cleaning partners, and supporting the Housekeeping team with daily operations. You will play an important role in making sure every guest arrives to a clean, comfortable, and well-prepared room. Standard Working Hours 9 hours per day (with 1 hour break); between 07:00-24:00; 5 days a week.
- Inspect guest rooms before arrival to ensure they meet Setsu Niseko standards
- Report room issues, damages, or maintenance needs after guest checkout
- Update cleaning and room status reports
- Coordinate with external cleaning teams and internal departments
- Handle guest requests such as towels, amenities, and other room items
- Check inventory for linen, amenities, and housekeeping supplies
- Help keep housekeeping areas, carts, linen, and supplies organised
- Support the Housekeeping Manager with daily operations
- Someone who has a good eye for detail and likes keeping things clean and organised

- Someone punctual, considerate, and flexible
- Visa status permitting work in Japan
- Monthly salary: ¥230,000 ~ ¥280,000 (plus annual discretionary bonus)
