About the role

Main tasks
  • Plan, prepare, and execute high-quality dishes that reflect our restaurant’s vision and standards.
  • Create seasonal menus incorporating fresh, local Hokkaido ingredients.
  • Oversee kitchen operations, including inventory management, food costing, and maintaining hygiene standards.
  • Train and mentor junior kitchen staff to ensure consistency and excellence.
  • Collaborate with the management team to develop innovative culinary concepts.
  • Ensure a smooth and efficient service during peak hours.

About you
  • Proven experience as a Chef in a high-volume, fine dining, or upscale casual restaurant.
  • Strong knowledge of international cuisines, with a focus on Japanese and Western fusion being a plus.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to seasonal demands.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with Hokkaido’s local produce and ingredients is an advantage.
  • Fluency in English is required; Japanese language skills are a plus but not mandatory.
  • Valid work visa for Japan (or eligibility to obtain one).
