Chopstick making Experience
Make your own pair of wooden chopsticks in a short, hands-on woodworking experience at Takumi Woodwork in Kutchan. In this 30-minute session, participants use traditional Japanese hand tools to shape, refine, and finish a pair of chopsticks from solid timber. The process includes selecting your wood, planing the tapers using a guided jig, hand-finishing the form, and applying a food-safe oil finish. Optional laser engraving is available for a personal touch. This is a relaxed, practical making experience rather than a formal class. All tools, materials, and guidance are provided.
