Strategic Marketing & Campaign Lead (Part-Time, Remote)
Niseko Tourism
Niseko Tourism is the official Destination Marketing Organisation (DMO) promoting year-round tourism in the Niseko area of Hokkaido. With a collaborative public-private framework and a global visitor base spanning Japan, Asia, Australia, North America, and Europe, we aim to elevate Niseko as a world-class, four-season destination. We are currently strengthening our brand position and marketing execution through a dedicated internal team and external branding partners.
The Strategic Marketing & Campaign Lead serves as the critical bridge between high-level brand and marketing strategy (developed with external partners and leadership) and internal marketing execution. This role translates brand messaging, strategic priorities, and campaign direction into clear, actionable plans for our internal marketing team, while ensuring continuity and long-term evolution of Niseko Tourism’s strategic direction.

- Provide concise and actionable briefs with timelines, messaging guidance, and objectives.
- Monitor the execution of marketing campaigns and ensure alignment with branding outputs (website, visuals, key messaging).
- Ensure cross-channel consistency (e.g., SNS, email, paid media, owned content).
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Liaise between the Directors, external branding/creative partners, and the internal team.
- Join key strategic meetings (virtually) to maintain alignment and continuity.
- Coordinate with PR and Community Engagement functions as necessary.
