About the role
We are looking for experienced female spa therapists to join us for the 2025/26 winter season. This is a hands-on, client-facing role best suited to those who are passionate about wellness and We are seeking experienced female spa therapists to join our dedicated team for the 2025/26 winter season in Niseko. This role is ideal for therapists who thrive in a refined, boutique setting and take pride in delivering high-quality, personalized treatments. Main tasks
Perform a range of massage and spa treatments, including relaxation, deep tissue, aromatherapy, and Thai, tailored to each guest’s needs
Ensure a calm, luxurious treatment environment through exceptional hygiene, cleanliness, and presentation
Greet and consult with guests in a professional, warm manner to understand individual preferences and concerns
Maintain product stock and assist with inventory management as needed
Support daily spa operations and assist the reception team when required
Uphold the highest standards of service, confidentiality, and personal grooming
Work collaboratively with team members to create a harmonious and efficient work environment
About you
The ideal candidate will demonstrate:
Technical Excellence – Proficient in multiple massage modalities and body treatments, with a solid understanding of anatomy and client safety
Guest-Centered Care – A warm, intuitive approach with the ability to anticipate and respond to individual guest needs
Professionalism – Punctual, well-groomed, and discreet, with a commitment to upholding luxury service standards
Adaptability – Able to work efficiently in a dynamic seasonal environment, with flexibility in scheduling
Team Collaboration – A positive, respectful attitude and willingness to support colleagues across roles when needed
Attention to Detail – Consistent in maintaining treatment quality, cleanliness, and presentation
Visa Eligibility – Must hold a valid Working Holiday Visa, dependent visa, or other visa status permitting freelance work in Japan
Offer
Contract Period: December 1, 2025 – March 31, 2026
Monthly Salary: ¥270,000–¥320,000 (based on experience)
Includes:
Staff accommodation within walking distance to the spa
Transportation support for those commuting from outside Hirafu
Fully paid training provided in early December
End of season bonus
You’ll be part of a small, close-knit team serving a loyal and upscale international clientele in a calm, professional environment.
Shorter or part-time contracts are also available on an hourly pay basis.
