Real Estate Marketing and Business Growth Manager

We are looking for a Marketing & Business Growth Manager to drive strategic marketing initiatives and grow our real estate brokerage business. This role will focus on expanding our presence in Niseko/Furano, by identifying new opportunities, attracting private sellers and developers, and engaging international buyers from Singapore, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and China. This is a unique opportunity to shape the growth of a luxury real estate brokerage and make an impact in some of Japan’s most sought-after markets.
Target Brokerage Segment
- Primary Focus: Luxury residential properties priced at ¥500M+.
- Secondary Markets: Real estate investors in land, redevelopment, and commercial properties.
Business Growth Strategy
- Identify opportunities to grow the brokerage business across these markets.
- Analyze market trends and buyer demand to propose new business ideas and initiatives.
- Lead Generation (Buyers & Sellers)
- Develop and execute targeted strategies to attract high-net-worth buyers interested in luxury properties.
- Implement marketing initiatives to engage property owners and developers, generating new listing opportunities.
Brand Positioning & Awareness
- Position the brokerage as the go-to real estate partner for international buyers in Tokyo.
- Build brand recognition among high-net-worth buyers across Asia.
- Great at working with co-brand partners, negotiate sponsorships etc to expand brand reach.
- Manage and build good working relations with vendors
Marketing & Content Creation
- Create compelling blogs, insights, and thought leadership pieces for LinkedIn and eDMs.
- Execute direct marketing campaigns targeting high-net-worth buyers and sellers.
- Oversee digital marketing efforts to enhance brand visibility.
Event Marketing & Business Development
- Conceptualize and execute property showcases, networking events, and seminars.
- Collaborate with the sales team to create lead-nurturing experiences for potential investors.
- Explore strategic partnerships with luxury brands, real estate firms, and private wealth networks.
Market Intelligence & Competitive Analysis
- Stay updated on real estate trends, buyer behavior, and industry shifts in Tokyo.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on market research.
- Track marketing effectiveness and optimize strategies accordingly.
- Someone with good business sense and strong marketing expertise in real estate, luxury, or hospitality.
- Understands how to grow a business through branding, partnerships, and buyer engagement.
- Passionate about real estate trends and buyer psychology.
- Excellent at creating engaging content for high-net-worth audiences.
- Excellent written, verbal communication and copy-editing skills (Mandarin and Japanese a plus).
- Lives/lived in Niseko for more than 2 years.
- Proven minimum 8 years' experience in ‘business growth marketing’ type of role
- Fluent in English + Japanese and/or Chinese
- Driver's license is a must
