About the role
We are seeking a multi-talented and experienced outdoor instructor to take a leading role on exciting adventure activity camps in summer 2025. This position requires bushcraft, survival or forest school instructing experience and a bubbly, fun yet responsible personality. You should be great with kids aged 6-13, have first aid skills and experience instructing a broad range of other outdoor activities both on and off the water.
Main tasks
- Be the lead instructor on approximately six to eight 5-day summer camps (mostly day trips, with one night in tents per week) between late June and mid August 2025
- Drive on the camps
- Get involved to some extent with preparation, sorting equipment, packing/unpacking vehicles, liasing with parents, taking and sharing photos, coordinating with venues on the day etc (although there are other colleagues on these roles too)
- Activities include: bushcraft/survival/forest school type sessions, wood & rope constructions, wild camping, cycling (flat), SUP, floating trampoline, white water rafting (accompanying, not as the actual guide), farm visit, snorkelling, beach games and raft building!

- Great with kids aged 6-13
- Hardworking (can handle long, action-packed days)
- Strong leadership, able to dynamically improvise and adapt to deliver exceptional, safe and fun outdoor experiences under all circumstances
