Niseko Media is a creative media company based in Niseko. We produce Powderlife and Summerlife, premium destination magazines connecting local and international businesses with audiences in Niseko and beyond. We also manage social media platforms and create high-quality visual content and storytelling for premium brands across travel, lifestyle, hospitality, and real estate.
We are looking for a Content & Marketing Coordinator to support the planning, coordination and delivery of content across Powderlife, Summerlife and selected client projects. This role suits someone creative, organised and detail-focused, with a strong interest in media, social media, destination marketing and mountain lifestyle.
Content & Social Media
- Create, plan and manage content for Powderlife and client social media platforms
- Assist with content planning for Powderlife, Summerlife and client campaigns
- Create captions, short-form copy and basic visual content for social media
- Help coordinate and create photo, video and editorial content
- Manage and update content on the Powderlife website
- Monitor social media activity, engagement and content schedules
Website & Digital
- Upload and update content on the Powderlife and client websites
- Assist with blog posts, news updates and digital campaign content
- Help maintain accurate listings, articles and promotional content
Marketing & Coordination
- Support day-to-day marketing operations and content planning
- Coordinate with internal team members and external partners as needed
- Assist with campaign planning, reporting and content schedules
- Help ensure projects are delivered accurately and on time
Magazine Production
- Assist with the production of Powderlife and Summerlife magazines
- Assist with the coordination of editorial, advertising and production materials
- Help track deadlines, image assets, advertiser information and content approvals
What you’ll need to succeed
- Post-secondary education in Business, Marketing, Journalism, Communications, Public Relations, Hospitality Management, or a related field
- Professional English written and verbal communication skills
- Japanese language ability is a plus
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills
- Excellent time management
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to meet deadlines
- Strong interpersonal skills, including empathy, active listening, and collaboration
Location: Niseko, Japan
Contract: Full-time
Start Date: Immediate
Work Hours: Average of 35–40 hours per week. Some flexibility may be required during peak periods.
