Niseko Tourism
Niseko Tourism is the official Destination Marketing Organisation (DMO) promoting year-round tourism in the Niseko area of Hokkaido. With a collaborative public-private framework and a global visitor base spanning Japan, Asia, Australia, North America, and Europe, we aim to elevate Niseko as a world-class, four-season destination. We are currently strengthening our brand position and marketing execution through a dedicated internal team and external branding partners.
Responsible for a wide range of tasks aimed at promoting regional tourism, including close collaboration with the management team and external partners. Duties include planning and executing marketing and promotional activities, managing digital tools and the website, producing communication materials, organizing events, and supporting member and tourist inquiries.Building relationships, answer inquiries, and assist with visits with overseas media and travel agenciesDrive projects that leverage existing regional brands.
- Collaborate closely with General Manager, Deputy General Manager, other staff & external consultants
- Marketing and promotion projects based on existing regional brands with external contractors
- Build relationships and manage visits with media and travel agencies, mainly overseas (presentations, FAM trips, etc.)
- Answer all English media inquiries, manage media packs.
- Manage the website on a daily basis in cooperation with external partners
- Manage system/digital tools(BI tools, mailchimp, CRM system, picture database and app)
- Manage events for member interaction, an annual general meeting, and tourism promotion
- Create digital and paper guides such as resort maps, restaurant guides, etc.
- Create weekly/monthly newsletters and press release for members, tourists and media
- Assist with member and tourist inquiries via phone and email
- Assist with General Manager in monthly director/subcommittee meetings
- Various projects for promoting regional tourism
- 2+ years in marketing, brand management, or destination marketing roles.
- Fluency in English and Japanese (N1 level), additional language skill is an advantage
- Ability to communicate with directors, managers and team members to perform duties
- Experience working in or with DMOs, tourism boards, or destination brands is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with the Niseko region or alpine destination tourism is an advantage.

- Type: Full-Time
- Contract Term: Permanent
- Hours: 40 hours/week (9AM - 6PM, 60 min break)
- Holiday: 2 days per week, national holidays, new year holidays, total 119 days per year
- Salary: ¥300,000 ~ / monthly plus Bonus(depends on organizational performance)
