About the role

As a Housekeeping Officer at Vacation Niseko, you will help prepare our properties so guests arrive to a clean, comfortable, and welcoming space. This is a hands-on housekeeping role that includes cleaning guest accommodation, checking rooms before arrival and after departure, restocking amenities and linens, and helping keep properties ready for each stay. You will also support daily housekeeping schedules, manage supplies, and work with the team to maintain a high standard across our properties. This role is well suited to someone who is reliable, active, detail-oriented, and takes pride in creating a clean and comfortable environment for guests. Working Hours (1) 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (8 hours, 60-minute break) (2) 8:45 AM – 5:45 PM (8 hours, 60-minute break) Working hours may vary slightly during busy periods. Overtime is generally not required except during peak seasons.

Main tasks
  • Support and give direction to part-time cleaning staff
  • Check rooms before guest check-in and after check-out
  • Make sure rooms are clean, prepared, and ready for guests
  • Manage daily cleaning schedules
  • Check and manage stock of cleaning supplies, amenities, and linens
  • Help maintain housekeeping standards across properties
  • Support cleaning tasks when required, especially during busy periods
  • Assist with other housekeeping and property operation tasks as needed
About you
  • Comfortable speaking and reading Japanese
  • Conversational English is a plus, but not required
  • Basic computer skills, including Word and Excel
  • Valid driver’s license and able to drive a Hiace van
  • Comfortable with cleaning tasks and waste handling when needed
  • Reliable, active, and happy to work as part of a team
  • Able to adapt when schedules or priorities change
  • Available to work during peak holiday periods such as New Year, Obon, and Golden Week
Offer
  • Monthly salary: ¥230,000 – ¥280,000 (plus annual discretionary bonus)
  • Immediate start (negotiable)
