Sansui Niseko is a luxury hotel located in the beautiful ski resort area of Niseko, Hokkaido.
We are currently looking for a Housekeeping Officer to join our team.
About the role
The main responsibilities include managing and supporting guest room and hotel environment operations in coordination with external cleaning companies, in order to maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the hotel. We look forward to receiving applications from candidates who can work collaboratively as part of a team and provide detail-oriented service to ensure a clean and comfortable environment for our guests.
Main tasks
- Checking the cleaning status and quality of guest rooms and hotel facilities, including inspection duties
- Replenishing and managing amenities, linens, and hotel supplies
- Carrying out cleaning and environmental maintenance within the facility as needed
- Coordinating with external cleaning companies and other departments through smooth communication
- Ensuring workplace safety and maintaining a comfortable working environment
- Providing high-quality service with attention to detail
- Providing various forms of support to ensure a comfortable and clean environment for guests
- Other related duties as instructed by the manager
About you
- Experience in the hotel industry is preferred, but applicants with no prior experience are also welcome
- Able to carry moderately heavy items, such as linens and supplies
- Enthusiastic and responsible, with the ability to carry out duties sincerely while paying close attention to detail
- Values teamwork and is able to work flexibly according to the situation
- Possesses basic business manners and a strong sense of hospitality
- Japanese communication skills required, with English communication skills preferred
- Experience or knowledge of hotel property management systems, such as OPERA, is preferred
- Experience working in the hotel industry or at an accommodation facility is preferred
Offer
Seasonal winter employment from around November 2026 to March 31, 2027
- Hourly wage from ¥1,500, with preferential treatment depending on experience and qualifications
- Employee dormitory available, subject to a fee

- Winter half-mountain shared lift pass or lift allowance
