Housekeeping Officer

Sansui Niseko, a luxury hotel in the heart of Niseko’s world-renowned resort area, is seeking a Housekeeping Officer to join our team. This role is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of guest rooms and public areas by working closely with outsourced cleaning partners. You will also support the housekeeping team and collaborate with the Housekeeping Manager to deliver a clean, comfortable, and refined guest environment.
Required Qualifications:
- Native-level Japanese proficiency
- Professional demeanor and respectful communication skills, especially when working with external vendors
- Physically able to carry moderate loads (e.g., linen, supplies)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to service excellence
- Ability to work flexibly and collaboratively as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications:
- Business-level English is an asset
- Prior experience in housekeeping, hotel operations, or facility management is preferred
- Valid driver’s license is desirable
- Open to candidates with no prior experience but with a positive and proactive attitude
- Type: Full-time, year-round contract
- Start Date: Negotiable
- Working Hours: 40 hours/week (shift-based)
- Holidays: 110 days/year
