Housekeeping Officer
Setsu Niseko
At Setsu Niseko, we are hiring a Housekeeping Officer to support day-to-day housekeeping coordination and ensure exceptional hospitality for owners and guests. Please note: actual cleaning tasks are performed by an external cleaning company. This role focuses on room inspections, inventory management, and maintaining high cleanliness standards through supervision and support.
- Conduct room inspections for arrivals and showrooms
- Perform damage checks and report issues after guest check-outs
- Respond to guest requests, including delivery of amenities and towels
- Check inventory levels of linens and amenities and report shortages
- Update and maintain the daily cleaning and inspection report
- Organize and store housekeeping supplies upon delivery
- Ensure housekeeping carts are clean, well-stocked, and properly organized
- Coordinate linen distribution and prepareoutgoing linen for supplier pickup
Qualifications:
- Previous housekeeping or hotel operations experience preferred
- Visa status permitting work in Japan (Visa sponsorship available for the right candidate)
- Valid driver’s license in Japan or international driving permit (preferred)
Competencies or skills
- Physicallyfit and comfortable with active work
- Strongattention to detail and cleanliness
- Fluentin Japanese; conversational English is a plus
¥230,000–¥280,000 per month + annual discretionary bonus
