MnK Niseko is an integrated real estate company that provides year-round accommodation and hospitality solutions to guests across four unique resort properties – Akazora, Country Resort, The Orchards and Takeo Drive. The MnK team comprises around 50 year-round members. Each winter, we hire a team of 70+ team members across multiple roles from Snowsports Instructors to Kids' camp leaders and mentors, reception/front desk, drivers, concierge, food and beverage operators, snow clearing, bus drivers and more.
Working as a part of the housekeeping team, you will be primarily looking after the cleanliness, condition, and presentation of our accommodation properties. Your responsibilities will include performing full cleans of accommodation upon guest departures to a high standard, completing light and mid-stay cleans of in-house guest accommodation, completing general area cleans when required, conducting property inspections before and after guest reservations, and reporting damages and maintenance requirements. We are seeking hard-working staff with high attention to detail, who can go the extra mile for our guests while being organized and self-motivated to make sure all daily tasks are completed so that operations run smoothly.
- Performing high-detail cleaning of accommodation upon guest departure. Including:
- Cleaning and sanitizing guest bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and living areas as per established standards.
- Dusting, vacuuming, and mopping floors
- Making beds and changing linens
- Cleaning windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces to ensure spotless finishes.
- Emptying trash bins and disposing of waste appropriately.
- Conducting light and mid-cleaning of accommodation during guest stays.
- Organizing and performing accommodation inspections before guests arrive and after the guest departs - checking for any
- maintenance requirements/lost property/final cleaning/etc.
- Experience in a previous hospitality/housekeeping/maintenance role
- Great time management
- Must be able to use your initiative and work well under pressure
- A willingness to go the extra mile to help out your team/ our guests
- Comfortable with physical work
- Must have or be eligible to obtain a Japanese Working Holiday Visa or already have the legal right to work in Japan
- Must have a Japanese driver's license or be able to obtain an International Driving Permit valid for Japan.
- Applicants must be fluent in English or Japanese. (English/Japanese/Mandarin bilingual language ability is highly advantageous)
Starting at ¥265,000 per month, depending on experience and/or language ability
