The Niseko Company is one of Niseko’s premier accommodation providers, managing a portfolio of luxury chalets and high-end properties throughout the area. We provide year-round property management and guest services for both international visitors and property owners.
We are currently seeking a full-time Property Operations Staff member to join our team in Niseko.
This is a long-term, year-round role for either someone already living in Japan or a Japanese national seeking a more balanced lifestyle while continuing to develop professionally. The position combines property operations, maintenance, guest support, and opportunities for increasing responsibility within the company over time. Niseko offers access to skiing, biking, hiking, and outdoor activities year-round, along with a cooler summer climate and slower-paced environment compared to Japan’s larger cities — while still remaining within reach of Sapporo. Winter Season
- Support operations team in providing high-level service to guests and property owners
- Guest transportation and operational support across multiple properties
- Property checks, troubleshooting, and light maintenance
- General operational and logistical support
Summer / Green Season
- Property maintenance and repair work
- Painting, inspections, and seasonal property preparation
- Assisting contractors and suppliers
- Opportunity to assist with homeowner communication and property liaison responsibilities as experience develops
- Professional, dependable, and adaptable attitude
- Strong practical problem-solving ability
- Comfortable using tools and carrying out maintenance or repair work
- Background in maintenance, construction, hospitality, or similar fields
- Safe driving record and confidence driving in winter conditions
- Basic computer skills (Excel, Google Drive, online systems, etc.)
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Customer service or client-facing experience
- Experience working in Japan or international environments
Required
- Fluency in either English or Japanese with conversational ability in the other
- Foreign applicants must hold a valid Japanese visa permitting full-time employment
- Valid Japanese driver’s license
- Starting from ¥1,800/hour during probation
- Full-time, year-round position
- Guaranteed 40 hours 5 days per week
- Shakai hoken provided for qualifying employees
- Initial 3-month probation period
