About the role

The Facilities Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily maintenance and operational condition of Hotel101 Niseko's facilities to ensure a safe, functional, and well-maintained environment for guests and staff. This role supervises maintenance activities, coordinates preventive and corrective works, and supports the hotel's readiness for opening and ongoing operations. The Facilities Manager plays a key role in maintaining building standards, compliance, and operational efficiency.

Main tasks

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise daily facilities and maintenance operations, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general repairs.
  • Ensure hotel facilities, equipment, and systems are maintained in safe and operational condition.
  • Coordinate preventive maintenance schedules and respond promptly to maintenance issues and breakdowns.
  • Liaise with contractors, vendors, and service providers for repairs, inspections, and servicing.
  • Monitor and maintain records for maintenance activities, warranties, and compliance documentation.
  • Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities.
  • Support hotel opening preparations, including system testing and defect rectification.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, health, and fire regulations and hotel policies.
  • Supervise and guide maintenance staff, ensuring work quality and adherence to standards.
  • Coordinate with operations, housekeeping, and guest services teams to minimize guest disruption.
