Bell / Recreation Officer | 2026–27 Winter Season

Sansui Niseko is a luxury hotel located in the beautiful ski resort area of Niseko, Hokkaido.
We are currently looking for a Bell / Recreation Officer to join our team.
The main responsibilities include general bell services, such as warmly welcoming and seeing off guests, handling and managing luggage, receiving and arranging courier deliveries, and escorting guests to their rooms. The role also involves supporting a comfortable guest experience through the management of the ski-in/ski-out area and ski lockers, assisting with rental and ski school arrangements, managing lift passes, and providing employee shuttle services. Candidates with knowledge of winter activities or previous experience working at a ski resort are welcome. - Maintaining and ensuring the safety of the ski-in/ski-out area, managing ski lockers, and supporting guests so they can use the lockers comfortably and smoothly
- Providing smooth guest service for ski and snowboard rental reception, assisting with ski school registration procedures, and supporting the loading and unloading of ski equipment
- Operating the employee shuttle and carrying out related duties as needed
- Responding to guest inquiries, warmly welcoming and seeing off guests, and escorting guests to their rooms
- Handling and managing guest luggage, as well as receiving and arranging courier deliveries
- Coordinating and communicating with other departments to support smooth operations
- Arranging lift passes and managing inventory appropriately
- Other duties as instructed by the manager
- Experience in Rooms Division roles within the hotel industry, such as Front Desk, Concierge, or Bell Services, is preferred. Experience working at a ski resort is also preferred.
- Basic knowledge and practical understanding of winter activities, including skiing and snowboarding
- Experience driving a standard vehicle on snowy roads is preferred
- Physical fitness to carry out outdoor snow removal work during the winter season
- Respect for Japanese hospitality culture and values, with the ability to provide flexible, high-quality service according to the situation
- Valid ordinary driver’s license required
- Ability to drive legally in Japan, including with an international driving permit where applicable
- Business-level English, with strong communication skills in Japanese or Chinese
Seasonal winter employment from around November 2026 to March 31, 2027
- Hourly wage from ¥1,500, with consideration given to experience and qualifications
- Employee dormitory available, subject to a fee
- Meal allowance provided
- Winter half-mountain shared lift pass or lift allowance provided
