We operate Mercure Niseko Resort, formerly known as Midtown Niseko Hotel, in the Niseko area.

Staff Accommodation Available
- JPY 1,400 per day

Hotel operations involve a wide range of roles. By working closely together across departments, our team provides guests with a comfortable stay and high-quality service. Main Positions Available: Front Desk and Guest Services, Housekeeping, Snow Removal and Maintenance Support
1. Front Desk and Guest Services
Responsibilities include:
- Assisting guests with check-in and check-out
- Responding to guest enquiries and requests
- Managing guest luggage, letters, and deliveries
- Providing transportation within the local area
A valid standard driver’s licence is required - Supporting other front desk and guest service operations as required
2. Housekeeping
Responsibilities include:
- Cleaning shared areas, including the communal kitchen, lobby, and restrooms
- Managing the inventory of consumables, supplies, and equipment
- Inspecting guest rooms and overseeing housekeeping standards
Guest room cleaning is outsourced, so this role mainly involves inspections and operational management rather than daily room cleaning.
3. Snow Removal and Maintenance Support
Responsibilities include:
- Manual snow removal throughout the property, including the car park
- Carrying out minor repairs to hotel facilities and equipment
- Assisting with general maintenance work
- Supporting the safe and efficient operation of the property
Required Skills and Experience:
1. Front Desk and Guest Services
- A valid standard driver’s licence is required
- Basic computer skills
- Conversational English
- Conversational Japanese is preferred
- Previous experience in a hotel, hospitality, or customer service role is preferred
2. Housekeeping
- Conversational English is preferred
- Previous experience working in a hotel or accommodation facility is preferred
3. Snow Removal and Maintenance Support
- Good physical fitness and confidence undertaking physically demanding work
- Ability to follow instructions and work cooperatively with others to maintain a safe working environment
- Previous snow removal or maintenance experience is preferred
Salary, Benefits, and Start Dates:
1. Front Desk and Guest Services
- Hourly wage: From JPY 1,550
- Start date: November 2026
2. Housekeeping
- Hourly wage: From JPY 1,550
- Start date: November 2026
3. Snow Removal and Maintenance Support
- Hourly wage: From JPY 1,600
- Employment period: From mid-December 2026 into 2027
