Annupuri
Annupuri is located at the western edge of the Niseko United ski area and is popular in the winter for its great mix of terrain, long groomed runs, and four gates for backcountry access, offering a fantastic deep-powder experience for skiers and snowboarders of all abilities.

Accommodation
At the base of the ski area is a variety of pensions, chalets, and hotels making up the Annupuri area which has retained the old-school charm of a quiet Japanese mountain village. Set against the backdrop of Niseko Annupuri mountain, and with easy access to a number of hot springs, Annupuri offers a variety of accommodation options to relax after a long day on the mountain.

Annupuri area has a handful of excellent restaurants: from a pizza restaurant owned by a chef who trained in Italy, a famous soba noodle, to izakayas, and a BBQ House.
Access Annupuri
Annupuri is Niseko United’s westernmost resort, serviced by the Niseko United shuttle bus during the winter, and local buses year-round. Charter buses are available from New Chitose Airport, Sapporo, and other towns and ski resorts in the region. Taxis are available from Kutchan JR Station as well as Niseko JR Station.

In the summer, there is an abundance of wildlife, hiking trails, outdoor activities, and scenic spots throughout the Annupuri area. The area is also home to a number of stunning onsen – most using completely natural water filled with minerals from the earth.

Niseko Village
Niseko Village is nestled between Hirafu and Annupuri and is home to several well-established ski-in ski-out hotels. With a focus on family-oriented winter activities, from snowmobiling and snow rafting to snowshoe tours and reindeer sled rides, Niseko Village offers gentle terrain at the lower mountain for beginners and some of the longest and steepest runs for experienced skiers.

Niseko Village is home to a small collection of restaurants with a wide range of cuisine. Locally grown produce is used to provide the finest dishes and for those with a sweet tooth, Hokkaido style cheesecake, soft serve ice cream, and cheese tarts can be found at Milk Kobo, a nearby dairy farm, popular with both visitors and locals.

In summer, golf enthusiasts can easily step out to the 18-hole golf course whilst taking in the fresh Hokkaido air and pleasant atmosphere of the Niseko countryside. Niseko Village also features an adventure park with rope courses.

Grand Hirafu
Hirafu is the largest of the four resorts that make up the Niseko United ski area. With over a dozen chairlifts and a gondola, Hirafu offers access to extensive terrain, off-piste and sidecountry and is well lit for night skiing. Hirafu has a unique international atmosphere and vibrant nightlife, packed with an interesting range of restaurants, cafes, bars, shops, and onsen. The gondola operates throughout the summer for easy access to hiking trails.

Accommodation
Hirafu has a multitude of options to accommodate the needs of all types of travellers. At the base of the ski area, upper Hirafu features a wide variety of ski-in ski-out hotels, serviced apartments, and cosy lodges and pensions. Lower Hirafu is a short walk from the Family Chairlift, with large townhouses, and luxury condos suited to large groups and families.
Dining
Hirafu village boasts a huge range of dining options. Enjoy breakfast at a cozy local cafe, lunch at an on-mountain diner, and dinner at a Michelin star restaurant; Hirafu’s food scene features cuisine from around the world. There are also a handful of food trucks around the village for a quick grab and go. Hirafu’s nightlife is made up of a variety of pubs, bars, izakaya and nightclubs for some well earned aprés ski. With new bars and restaurants popping up each year there is sure to be something exciting to try.
Access
Most buses and transport that arrive in Niseko will arrive in Hirafu at the Hirafu Welcome Center. From there most accommodation providers will provide a pickup service. There are also taxis and local buses to get to other places around Niseko.
Hirafu is located between the Niseko Village and Hanazono ski areas and is serviced by the Niseko United shuttle bus during the winter, and local buses year-round. The nearest city, Kutchan, is 15 minutes away by local bus. Charter buses are available from New Chitose Airport, Sapporo, and other towns and ski resorts throughout Hokkaido. Taxis are available from Kutchan JR Station as well as from Hirafu Welcome Center.

Hanazono
Niseko Hanazono Resort is Niseko United’s easternmost ski area and is a base for a variety of off-mountain winter activities. From snowmobiling and cat skiing to snow tubing and guided snowshoeing tours, Hanazono is famous for its wide, open bowls, tree runs, terrain parks, and long, groomed runs with easy access to backcountry gates.

Accommodation
There are a number of accommodations available in the area around Niseko Hanazono Resort. There are many chalets and houses available in the surrounding forests which are just a short distance from the resort. It is possible to walk to the resort from many of these accommodations, however, a rental car is recommended in many cases.
The largest accommodation is the Park Hyatt; a luxury mountain retreat located next to the base chairlift. The hotel features eleven restaurants, lounges and bars, spa and onsen facilities, indoor swimming pool, fitness center, concierge, and much more. We recommend considering all accommodation options in the Hanazono area when making your booking. Additionally, there is the Nikko Style Niseko Hanazono hotel.
Dining
Indulge your culinary senses at one of Park Hyatt’s eleven restaurants, lounges and bars featuring cuisine from around the world. Casual dining options are located directly opposite the Hanazono #1 chair lift at Hanazono EDGE, Hana 1 Cafe, and Café Hanazono 308 by SPROUT. During summer the Hanazono Golf Clubhouse offers a variety of Japanese and western dishes.
Access
Niseko Hanazono Resort operates a free shuttle bus every twenty minutes throughout the day between Hirafu and Hanazono and is also serviced by the Niseko United bus. Park Hyatt offers a shuttle between Hirafu, Hanazono, and Kutchan. Taxis are available from Kutchan JR Station which is located less than 10 minutes away.

Niseko Moiwa Ski Resort is located on the south-western side of Mt. Niseko Annupuri, and offers an incredible skiing experience in a stunning natural setting. The compact yet diverse terrain provides a range of courses, from gentle beginner slopes to steep advanced runs, ensuring options for all skill levels. Powder snow lovers will appreciate the untracked, pristine areas.

The area around Niseko Moiwa Ski Resort offers a wide range of accommodations to suit any travel style. Stay in capsule hotels right by the slopes, relax in luxury resort hotels, or enjoy charming local pensions. The area is peaceful and quiet compared to the hustle and bustle of other areas around Niseko.
Dining
Niseko Moiwa Ski Resort has a large cafeteria restaurant serving Japanese dishes made from local produce. There is also a smaller restaurant serving lunch and dinner, as well as afternoon tea.
Access Niseko Moiwa Ski Resort
While the resort is within walking distance from the nearest bus stop, it’s recommended to drive or rent a car, as there is plenty of free parking available. Taxis are available from Kutchan JR Station as well as Niseko JR Station.
