Golf

The Niseko area boasts a large number of various types of golf courses. There are courses for everyone from kids to grandparents, meaning there is golfing fun for the whole family!

Golf

Niseko lies in the hilly basin between Mt. Yotei and Mt. Niseko Annupuri. Its unique location means that even our hottest month, August, averages between 16.9 and 25.7 degrees. The low humidity means that any outdoor activity can be enjoyable. The Niseko area is home to a variety of courses in the midst of nature, through wooded areas, and up and down hills. Courses in Niseko are all self-play, so golfers are required to use carts which they can drive through the fairways. Niseko’s golf courses are a beautiful place to enjoy a relaxed round.

There are four main courses around Niseko. The Niseko Village Golf Course lies at the doorstep of the Hilton Niseko Village, and superb views of Mt. Yotei are visible from the whole area. The course is so close that you can wear your golf shoes from your room to the course and down to a hot spring bath afterwards. The Niseko Golf Course, designed by Arnold Palmer, is a beautiful course through the forest, surrounded by pine trees and white birches. The Niseko Tokyu Golf Course is known as one of the most attractive courses in Japan. The course has an unusual layout and is set in the middle of picturesque Niseko scenery. Niseko Golf and Resort also lies on hilly terrain in a forest of white birch. The natural undulations of the course and the final shots facing Mt. Yotei make this an especially memorable experience.
