A pure powder experience
Frequently referred to as a ‘winter wonderland’, Niseko’s unique location makes it a Mecca for winter sports enthusiasts. With sub-arctic winds blowing in from Siberia and blanketing the resort in deep, dry powder snow, as a winter holiday destination, Niseko is attracting more and more visitors every year.
The location of the Annupuri ski field is at the base of one of the area’s largest National parks. Located at high altitude, it offers some of the best snow in winter and some of the best trekking and outdoor activities in summer.
Hirafu is the biggest village in Niseko and provides the largest and most diverse selection of accommodation.
Niseko Village lies in the heart of the Niseko United ski area, nestled between Annupuri and Grand Hirafu. It offers a huge variety of skiing options including some of the steepest courses on the mountain.
The Hanazono area is part of Grand Hirafu and thanks to its North/East aspect delivers amazing powder snow. The area borders on vast acres of the deepest snow you will ever find and there are several gates giving access to this “powder haven”.
