THE USE OF DRONES OR UNMANNED AERIAL VEHICLES (UAV) WITHIN THE NISEKO UNITED SKI RESORT BOUNDARY, SURROUNDING NATIONAL PARKS/LAND IS PROHIBITED.
In recent years, radio-controlled aircrafts such as drones or unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) have rapidly gained popularity in Niseko. However, due to the aircraft’s weight and revolving wings, a collision with such vehicle may cause serious damages to people on the slopes or the resort's facilities.
In order to avoid accidental collisions - which can be triggered by sudden strong winds, radio signal malfunction, device breakdown, operation errors, and so on -, all the use of drones or UAV in the Niseko ski resort as well as surrounding national parks and land is strictly prohibited.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
