Guesthouse Cleaning and Customer Satisfaction Manager

Key Responsibilities and Skill Set
· Meeting and greeting guests, showing them their accommodation, answering questions,
· Taking and handling reservations on the job and by phone,
· Being on call to check guests in when they arrive,
· Staff Supervision and management,
· Managing a small team (2-3 staff) to perform all duties around the guesthouse
· Making up rooms, making beds, cleaning bathrooms
· Cleaning common areas and picking up after guests,
· Cash handling,
· Sales Management and Reports,
· Acting as Host to guests,
· Handling complaints,
· Running guest breakfast,
· Standard office and administration duties,
· Local Sales and maintaining website blogs,
· Social networking site updates including responses to posts,
· Willingness to help in other areas if needed, when needed,
· Business level Japanese speaking ability preferred,
· International Manual drivers license with winter driving experience.

Skill Set Required:
· Experience in customer service and management,
· Self motivated and ability to work without constant supervision
· An ability to foster team spirit with a positive attitude
· A high standard of work ethic and attention to detail
· Flexible to work various shifts including public holidays and weekends
