Main functions of the Resevations Manager
●Occupational description:
-Reservation & Sales Management
-Product Support
-Team Leadership
-Training

In addition to genaral reservations responsibilities, other key duties of the Reservations Manager includes but is not limited to:
-Setting consutant sales targets, goals and strategies
-Prepare and follow monthiv objectives to increase occipancy and revenue
- Preparation of regular sales reports and booking statistics
-Monitor incoming quote requests to ensure efficient response time
-Delegation and worked management of reservations team
-Communication of reservations activitv to management and other departments
Preparation and loading of rates and pricing documentation
-Effectively handle quest feedback whether it be whether it be positive and negative
-Act as the primary escalation pont for all queries regarding bookings and distribution of marketing and promotional material
-Ongoing review and development of reservations procedures and systems
-Assist accounts team with agent accounts, payment and reconciliations
-Active participation in regular management and team meetings

Asssisting the Product Manager you will also:
-Co-ordinate and host agent famils
-Prepare product memos, e-aerts for internal and external distribution
-Develop and co-ordinate internal and agent product training
Management of reservations and agent database
As you further develop in this role, your cross department involvement with Marketing, IT, Operations and Guest Service will also develop.
