    Overview:

    We are a Australian Travel agent with a branch office in Niseko. We specialise in ski holidays in Japan and Niseko is our primary destination. Until this year we employed eight staff in Niseko but due to the downturn in business as a result of the tsunami, our staff model will be only half the number and an expected 50% less clients this season.

    Our Niseko office is a support office for everyone of our clients whilst they stay in Japan and also acts as a back office managing all arrivals and transfers to each resort, checking all booking details are correct and booking the transfers 10 days prior to the guest arriving in Japan. The Sydney office acts as the sales office and the holidays are sold as a package that includes flights, transfers, accommodation and lift tickets.

    All bookings go through a final check process ten days before the client arrives in Japan and then the Japan office books the transfers, lift tickets for the booking. The accommodation is also checked and each property is sent an update of month to month bookings thirty days prior.

    The job would be to assist with all translation needs in the office, contacting suppliers, accommodation, assisting with lift ticket orders, booking of the airport to Niseko transfers and any other office needs as they present to us.

    The office is open daily from 08:00 to 11:00 daily for walk off the street clients in Niseko but when the doors are closed, we will be working in the back office. The translator position would be office environment and the hours would be 6 days per week, split shift with some hours in the morning probably 08:00 to 11:00 then a break and the restart from 15:00 to 19:00. A total of 6 days x 7 hours per day - 42 hours a week.

    Salary:
    42 hours per week over 6 days - This may change depending on the needs of the business but a guaranteed
    Salary would be 180,000 per month
    FREE accommodation in our staff lodge - Haruka
    A Hirafu season lift pass.
