Kompira Shrine Annual Festival
Merchen Street in Kutchan town transforms into a festival venue, and traditional Japanese stands fill the street. Location: Merchen Street in Kutchan town, 9-11 of November every year.

Niseko Festival
A harvest festival that takes place in both in Niseko town and Kutchan town. Enjoy the fresh local produce. Location: At several places around the Niseko area. From late September to early October.

Niseko Marathon Fetival,
A running race (half-marathon, 10k, 5k…) during which everyone can enjoy the autumn landscapes and harvest-season dining. Venue: Niseko town, late September.

Tour de Hokkaido
The 2nd stage (moutain stage) of the cycling race “Tour de Hokkaido 2010″ took place in the Niseko-Toya Lake area in September 2010. Hirafu-zaka, next to Niseko Grand Hirafu, was the start and finish line, and the street was filled with cheering onlookers.

SL Niseko
A traditional steam locomotive operates seasonally between Sapporo and Rankoshi, passing through Otaru and Niseko. Every Saturday, Sunday, and Holiday from late September to early November.
