Niseko Charity 2011
Mar 28, 2011
To support the people who have been suffered by the earthquake and tsunami that hit Tohoku and eastern coastal areas of Japan, a Niseko Charity Event was held on March 27 in Grand Hirafu ski resort.
37 of professional skiers and snowboarders and 123 of their fans who sympathize with the goal of the event gathered at Niseko Grand Hirafu.

I participated in this event as a skier, then I got pictures here mostly of skiers. Sorry for all the snowboarders who were the majority yesterday!
This event originated from a Niseko local person, and his high aim moved people’s mind and lead this event to a successful conclusion.
There should be many ways of supporting for this disaster.
In this event, the professional riders and their fans who advocated the aim gatered in Niseko, and raised money with taking advantage of the situation as a world-class winter resort.
Outdoor gears from 42 local individuals and companies came up for auction and 600,000 yen were funded jointed with the participation fees and donations.
The funds received in this event will be passed to the Japan Red Cross through Niseko Promotion Board and Kutchan tourism Association Hirafu Branch .
We’d like to continue this down-to earth support for long periods of time.
Thank you for your co-operation!
