Close relationship between J-Sekka and local cyclists.
Mar 02, 2011

I was taken out to dinner by local cyclists at Sekka Dining the other night.
Sekka Dining is one of the facilities in J-SEKKA building, located at the heart of the Hirafu village. It is the place to be if you’d enjoy a selected taste of Hokkaido in Niseko.

Kat, the general manager of J-SEKKA, and her husband have deep appreciations of farm products, and walk around Hokkaido to find the finest local vegetables, meat, fish, and dairy products for local consumption. What gorgeous showcase of Hokkaido food their chefs present on dishes!
They have an extensive cellar which includes quality domestic and international wines.

We talked about cycle road races, which we’ll organize or participate ourselves this summer over dishes of local cheese and fruits, and the artistic excellent desserts!

Besides the main restaurant, there are J-Sekka Deli & Café, Maki Lounge (bar), and accommodations on the premises as well.
At the Deli & Café , they have fine Hokkaido produce, including cheese, specialty meats, local salmon, homemade jams, chutneys and muesly for you to take home or to enjoy in the cafe. They are serving great coffees, big breakfasts and light meals, Otaru beer on tap.
It is the place you’d stop to buy coffees after good cycling with your friend in summer!

If you are a Niseko local, don’t miss to apply for the token at the cash desk of the Deli & Café to get special discount for food and coffees.
